If you go back to the schedule screen, which you will see some information for each property:
- Total capacity
- Occupied spots
- And then in green: available capacity. If there is no capacity available, this field turns orange and if there is negative capacity, the field is red.
Is there any capacity left in a home? Then you can click on the green bar with '... available'. A new screen will open where you can add an occupant.
You can first enter the room at the top where the resident will be staying. Then you can enter check-in and check-out dates. Are you also using the Check-In app? Then you can choose to invite the resident to his or her new stay by e-mail or text message (see the send invite mail/text buttons). Want to add a resident who is already in the system? Then you can click Choose Resident and then select a resident. If the resident has not previously been created in the system, you must choose Create New Resident. If you click this, a field will appear with additional space for information such as: name, email address and phone number. Then you can create a resident here.
If you then click Create Resident, you will have added a new resident; this will also remain in the system so that you only need to create a resident once. This resident will then be placed in the system as Current Resident and the availability of the property will decrease by one spot.
Once you have selected the correct resident, room and period, then click Save; the resident is now added to the room and the capacity decreases by 1 for the selected period.
