The Availability Planning tab provides insight into requested beds by external parties. These parties, with a limited account in SIMA, could request availability directly in the system from you.
First, it is important to create Teams. This is because if no Teams exist in the account, this tab will be empty. You can read more about Teams here.
All teams that exist in your account will be displayed below each other. In this example there is only 1 team, called test.
To a team you can add employers (or; requesters in this case). You can read more about this in this article.
The thinking behind this division is as follows: each team has planners, and each team with planners is responsible for housing an x number of employers. So these employers request housing, and this request then reaches the right team. These can then process the request and assign them beds.
In this case, you can see that team Test has a total of two employers under view (Demo Stay and Vest).
You will also receive an email of a request so you can't overlook it. All applications can be found in this overview. Making a request is explained in this article.
By clicking on Edit Mode you can also type in a request quantity. Then under Granted you can enter the amount of beds you have allocated to that employer for that specific week.
Then click Save to make the changes.
