Conducting a regular check (build report)

Modified on Tue, 10 Oct, 2023 at 11:12 AM

If you go to Location Actions and then to Actions, you will see the options 'Checkin', 'Checkout' and 'Check'. All checks work the same, the only difference is that:

  1. You can check in residents in a home and bedroom on a check-in report
  2. With a check-out report you can check out residents from a residence and bedroom
  3. You don't do anything with the residents in a check

In this article, we explain how a regular check works.

When you click check, a screen opens with the following tabs;

1. Rooms.

2. SNF

3. Meters (meter readings)

At the top of the screen you also always see the selected location with address information. Are there occupants in the house? Then these are displayed under the heading Current occupants.

Rooms

In the Rooms tab you can check the rooms present in the house. The rooms should be created when creating the property in SIMA. Are you missing rooms? Then adjust it here yourself or ask someone within the organization with the appropriate rights to do it for a while. A detailed explanation about checking inventory in rooms can be found in this article.

SNF Questions

The SNF questions are based on the SNF criteria. These are questions all related to the condition of the room. These must meet SNF standards.

In particular, you see Yes or No questions here. However, there are 2 fields displayed where you can enter a date, namely for the fire extinguisher and the boiler. Here you can indicate up to when these have been checked. Did you enter a date during your previous check? Then it will automatically be filled in for you the next time you check; so you only have to check that this date is still current.

Meters

The next tab shows all possible meter readings of the room. Here you can enter the meter reading both numerically and with a picture, including the date you checked it. With the plus sign you add the picture. The date of the meter reading is automatically set to the current date.

Finish your check
