(De) archive locations

Modified on Tue, 10 Oct, 2023 at 12:21 PM

When a property is (temporarily) not active on the platform, it can be archived. You first go to the location overview and then you select Location actions. You can archive a home by pressing Archive under the heading Actions

This will move the property, including all documents and relevant information, to the Archived tab in the location overview. When you pressed archive, a new screen opens first.

In this screen you can enter some important dates. Do you want to archive the property not today but on a date in the future? Then under archive date you can enter the desired date; it will be automatically archived on that day.

At the moment of archiving, you can choose to have a number of To Do's triggered in the system. These To Do's involve things that need to be checked/handled before delivery. You can read more about these To Do's in the piece on Default To Do's.

De-archive

When you just want to put a property location back to active, it can easily be de-archived again with all documents and information belonging to the property. This is done by pressing the Un(archive) button. The property is then displayed among the complete list of properties under the All locations tab. So you do not have to re-create the property first!
