Creating inventory lists

At the top of the screen, you will see a black button with a plus sign (+). When you click this, you can choose to create a new item or a new inventory list. For now, we're going to create a new inventory list. Click New Inventory List.

In this field you can create a new inventory list for a house or room. First, give the list a name. Note! The name you enter here is the one displayed in the English language in SIMA. So always enter the English name of the list here! After saving the list, you can also enter the list name in other languages such as Dutch by editing the inventory list.

Next, you can select the items you want to add to this list; you can find the items by searching by name or number. Once you have selected the items you want in the list, click Save. You have now added a new inventory list to your inventory list. This article shows you how to create items.

A good way to use inventory lists is to create one inventory list for each room type. So one list for a standard bedroom, one for a kitchen, one for the living room and so on. By doing this, you can add a standard set of inventory to each of these rooms in your living location. That way you don't have to manually add the complete inventory for each house and room. Each room is unique, of course, but it's always easier that you already have a basic set ready to go that you only need to add to if necessary!
