Create an invoice

You can create an invoice by going to the Invoice dashboard and then clicking on the black Plus (+) on the right upper side of the screen. Important to know is that you first have to make sure you filled in the information about My Organisation. When you click on Create Invoice, a new screen opens. In this field you can fill in information about:



1. The debtor: you can both create a new debtor or select an already existing debtor. Here you can read more about adding a list of debtors to SIMA. When you create a new debtor here, it will also automatically be saved to your list of debtors so you don't have to manually insert them again the next time. 

2. General information: here you can fill in where the invoice is about, the period and the date of the invoice.

3. Invoice lines: here you can fill in different lines for the invoice. If you invoice consists of different items, you can create those different items. Per item you can fill in a description, Price Excl. VAT, Total Ecxl. VAT, VAT percentage and Price Incl. Vat.


After you have finished the invoice, you have the following option:


1. Cancel: the invoice will be deleted and not be saved.

2. Show preview: the invoice will be shown to you in the complete format so that you can see how someone receives it.

3. Save as concept: the invoice will be saved as an concept. You can find it back at the Concept tab at the invoice dashboard. 

4. Save and send: the invoices will be saved an send to the debtor. You can find the invoice back at the Definitive tab at the invoice dashboard.
