We’ve been working hard over the past few months on an update to our Sales / CRM module. With this update, the module has become a complete package that allows you to fully manage the rental and leasing processes of locations within SIMA. From the initial housing request to the moment a contract needs to be created and invoices sent, everything can now be managed directly in SIMA. To make this possible, we have also implemented several changes to the control reports.

  • We have added a new type of control report called the incident report. The incident report is similar to the regular control report but without the SNF and Meter Readings tabs. It is designed not to check all items in a property, but only to record reported incidents. For this reason, inventory items can only be marked as “bad,” since it is assumed that only incidents are being reported. The PDF version of the report is also more concise, as items without incidents are not shown, so only the reported issues are visible.
  • From now on, you can also save reports for review. Previously, it was only possible to save a report and send it as final. With the new Save for Review button, a report can first be saved as a draft, allowing someone else to check it before it is sent as final. The “For Review” button is optional and can be added alongside the Save and Send options. Note: this introduces an extra step to finalize and send a report.
