CRM update - Adjustments in locations

We’ve been working hard over the past few months on an update to our Sales / CRM module. With this update, the module has become a complete package that allows you to fully manage both the rental and leasing processes of locations within SIMA. From the initial housing request to the moment a contract needs to be created and invoices sent, everything can now be managed directly in SIMA. To make this possible, we’ve made several adjustments within the location tile.


  • The IBAN field in location contracts was previously freely editable. 
    • We’ve implemented two important changes. First, when you enter an IBAN, the system now checks whether the entered value follows the correct IBAN format. We do not verify authenticity, only the structural correctness. 
    • Second, when you add a contact with the type OWNER (landlord) and set the Rental list option to yes, the IBAN field becomes mandatory. This is because for this group of landlords, you will need to send invoices yourself, and having a valid IBAN is required.
  • A new field called Cost Center has been added to the General tab. If you leave this field empty when saving a location, the system will automatically fill it with the SIMA ID, the unique number assigned to each location upon saving. If you enter a value yourself or change it later, your input will take precedence.
  • We’ve added separate user permissions for the different tabs in the location form. This means you can now restrict access to specific data even for users who have editing rights for locations. To set this up for specific roles within your organization, please contact roger@bookthat.nl
